Black Friday, Weekend, and Cyber Monday Info

 

In hopes of keeping this easy to find I am grouping all of the sales and information about this week end in the one post. 

First off, Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating it today.  My wish is that you are able to find and enjoy one thing that you are thankful for.  Secondly, Happy Hanukkah, to those that are celebrating.  I was surprised to find it so early this year, but have learned that although rare, it does happen!

Now on to the sales.

Scraps N Pieces, is having a one day only, store wide sale.  This happens on Black Friday.  (November 29, 2013 only)

P12 November

 

The days and nights haven’t definitely gotten colder.  Snow flakes come and go quickly, but you can tell that it will soon be here to stay.  November is almost at an end.  I am stopping in today to show you P12 – November by Romajo.  I love the muted tones that remind me of the sunsets in November, or those last days at the beach.  You can find it on sale in her store this week.

My Niece sent me some photos of Kailey asleep in her big girl bed for the first time, as well as one from nap time this week.  Kailey only turned 1 in August, but had firmly decided that she was done with the crib.  She loves her bed!  I have been playing with masks recently and decided try it out on this layout.  The template credits are below the layout.  I also have Novembers cluster freebie for you.  Just click on the preview to start the download.

All Wrapped Up

 

Have you started, or finished your Christmas shopping?  I have done a bit, but for most of them I am doing a homemade gift.  At the beginning of November I was all I have lots of time, now that November is coming to an end I have started to panic a little.  One of my favourite things about this time a year is wrapping presents.  My Mom and I would always spend an evening or two with Christmas movies or songs playing in the background, and the living room full of wrapping paper rolls and bows and tags, and the scissors and tape that always disappeared!  It was always a fun time. 

I was reminded of this memory again when I seen the newest kit by Leaving a Legacy Designs.  All Wrapped Up was inspired by ‘brown paper packages tied up with string” and is full of brown papers and lots wrapping embellishments, as well as trees and snowflakes.  It really is jammed pack full of embellishments.  You can find this kit on sale for 20% off until Sunday.

Unfortunately for me those nights of wrapping with my Mom did not include a photo of us, however my cat just wanted to be mischievous and play with the paper and get tangled up in ribbons.  So that is what I scrapped below.

As I am typing this, I am thinking that it can’t be the 21st of November already.   DSD was only last week, wasn’t it?

I have been wanting to do a scrapbook page of both my great nieces, not as they are now, but of how each one looked within the first week of them being born.  I loved that I have some photos of them in similar poses, and used two of them to create my layout.  I also have created a border freebie for you.  I had to reduce the size of it to fit it on the preview, but it is 12 inches high.  To download it just click on the preview below.

Lucky Fin

 

I am going to be keeping this short.   I decided to drink a lot of milk this past week, and being lactose intolerant, I am now paying the price.  (I can usually handle bits at a time.)  Thankfully I am starting to keep food down!

With my Niece giving birth this past week, I have been very grateful that the delivery went smoothly and that Mommy and Baby are doing well.  I used a template from Two Pager Pack 5 by AK Designs, and Count Your Blessings to create this two page spread of Kailey really enjoying her first fall.  (She was only two months old last year)

Dive into Fall (Revisited)

 

Hello there.  I am just popping in today to show you a brand new collaboration by Mommy Me Time Scrapper and The Scrappy Kat.  They had so much fun with the rest of the Dive into series, that they wanted to update their older kit Dive into Fall.  So Dive into Fall (revisited) was born.  It is filled with pumpkins, an apple tree, a scarecrow and some corn.  Some acorns, and a squirrel who is ready for the cold.  There are so many options with this kit.  It definitely screams fall, (or at least the fall here in Ontario)

You will also find that Dive into Fall uses the same colour palette as Dive into Halloween, so you can combine them for a huge kit.  My layout features my niece Paige,  (The one who is now a Mother of 2!!)  having fun with a pile of leaves at my Grandparents house.  I also have a Brag Book Page Freebie for you today.  It is 5x7 in size and can by easily resized.  To download it just click on the preview below.

Thankful Alpha

 

I have been come a Great Aunt for the second time!!  My Niece gave birth to a baby girl on November 7th.  Here is Kailey meeting her little sister Serena Faith (scrapbook page to come)

Marieke, the designer behind Romajo has created four versatile alphas for this weeks release.  She named them Thankful Alpha.  This past week an F1 tornado went over her house.  Her husband was home, but she and her daughter were away visiting friends.  Her husband was fine, and aside from some shingles to be replaced, and a few other touch ups they were very lucky.   She has updated her store this week as well.   Click HERE to head over and check it out.

Hallow-Kids

 

Well, Halloween was a miserable night.  Heavy rain and winds, and even some thunder and lightning put a damper on the trick or treaters.  I could definitely see them trying to decide whether to keep going, get more candy and get wet, or just say its a night, and get inside.  There were some great costumes this year. 

Romajo has a new kit releasing today, and is also participating in a blog hop.  She took the colour palette for the designer challenger over at Mousescraps, and not only made a freebie for the blog hop, but also created a full size kit that coordinates with it.  Here is her new kit, Hallow-Kids.  You can find it on sale for 50% off as it is included in her storewide sale.
