He Loves Me

 

With Valentines Day approaching family and love seems to be on everybody's mind.  (As it should be in my opinion)  There is nothing like the feeling of showing someone you love them.  In order to help you do that, many designers have created beautiful kits with the theme of love center stage.  I will have a few posts today so that you don’t miss any new releases.

Dive into Valentine’s Day

 

Mommy Me Time Scrapper and The Scrappy Kat have a new addition to their “Dive into” series.  Dive into Valentine’s Day has muted colours, but is still full of love.  Lots of hearts, and animals in love as well.  you can find this kit on sale for 40% off.

I at one point had both a cat and a bird.  We did let the bird out of its cage to fly around.  His favourite thing to do was to go visit the cat.  No matter where it was hiding, they would find each other.  It even got to the point that if the cat ignored the bird, the bird would start pecking at the cat.  It was quite an odd relationship, but it was one full of love.

Count Your Blessings

 

Wow--are you completely taken aback by how February is in full swing and how you haven't accomplished much in the new year? That's how Loni of Grace Blossoms 4 U  feels if she thinks about it. Seems like so much is going on and I get to participate in at least some of it.  She is getting ready to celebrate Valentine's Day simply because her anniversary is on the 16th and it is a reminder of how blessed she is to be married to wonderful man.  So let me introduce her new release for scrapping all the blessings in our lives.

Count Your Blessings is a bright and fresh kit that has an artsy feel to it. Made with stencils, paints and brushes, it plays well with all sorts of photos.  Loni has also created a freebie for you.  You can find it on her facebook page.  I have the image below linked to take you there. 

 

I fell in love with this kit!  As soon as I saw it, the photos below jumped into my head.  Here is some that I have done.  I used two templates from her new template pack, Blessed Revelation.

Speed Scrap, Sale and New Products

 

This weekend is the annual Speed Scrap Marathon over at MouseScrappers.  She has created things to go in the goodiebags (you'll get one after finishing 8 scraps (half marathon) or 16 scraps (full marathon)). These two products were released last Saturday.  Dream Portrait may look familiar as she has combined three of the freebies she as offered, and put them together in case you missed them.  she also released a pack of Dotted Papers, that coordinates with P12-2014

Frosty

 

Do you have snow outside?  After receiving another 20 cms yesterday, there is no doubt that we have snow.  In fact we have a nice hill in the front yard.  Too bad you would arrive face first into another snow bank if you tried to slide down it.  Mommy Me Time Scrapper and The Scrappy Kat are releasing Frosty today.  Filled with lots of different snowmen, frosty is a kit to use for all of those snow photos you have.  You can find Frosty on sale for 40% off.

Since I have been scrapping my snowmen this year, I have used Frosty with another snowman.  My other layout is of the snow we had back in March 2009.  (We have that much now in February 2014!)

Painted Love

 

This month Leaving a Legacy Designs participated in Scraps N Pieces, Bits N Pieces.  She has four different packs available on sale until February 7th.  Painted Love has a painted Alpha, put the Elements Pack also has painted flowers and leaves.  With Valentines Day being less than two weeks away, these packs are filled with goodies to scrap the loves of your life.

The first layout I did was using the template provided for the template challenge at SNP.  To check out the first template for this month click HERE, and then on the template challenge.  For the second I wanted to highlight a couple of photos of my nephews, who I will always love.

We had a nice sunny, warm (only –15C) day.  So what did I do?  Prepared for the snow that starts tomorrow night.  So shopping was a must, cleaned up the snow and tried to make room for the snow to come.  It was nice to see the sun and enjoy some time soaking it in.
